A museum is defined as a building or institution assigned to the acquisition, care, research, and exhibition of numerous objects that represent the heritage of humankind and its environment. Museums enable us to revisit history. It displays how humanity has advanced, learned, created, and conserved all of it. From well-established institutions to niche offerings, you will find world-class museums found across the globe. Now, many countries take pride in their cultural history and put it on display for tourists and locals to see. Countries do this in the form of museums.

And which one of them is the world’s favourite? It is found out by several visitors visited in a year. AECOM and the Themed Entertainment Association created an annual report on the world's most visited attractions. The Louvre is the most visited museum of them all with more than 9 million visitors annually. it is a favoured museum of celebrities too, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z. It broke attendance records in 2018 when it crossed the 10 million visitor mark.
